zooloo I'm a bit confused by this one.

Oh one hand it's an empty and safe gesture. It's a bit of self-publicity that we're paying for.

On the other, I agree the 42 day thing is troubling.

I supposed I'm not convinced by the sincerity of this gesture.
The Cat I'm not sure that his resignation is the most practical reaction to the 42 day rule, but it is an honourable one. He put his point across very well on the BBC 1pm news. Hopefully he'll win his by-election and return to Parliament with new respect and a real message from the British people.
