I've certainly seen nothing on BBC News Online.

Marvellous old character actor (Hancock, Hugh and I - with Terry Scott, Dr Who) aged 85.

Ahh such a shame, but a great age.

Considering who has worked with.

Of course he was in The Hancock Blood Donor episode - he 'walked off with the wine gums'!

Same here. What is disgraceful is that the BBC, a company he worked for a great many times over his life haven't even mentioned it yet on their site. Not a respectful way to treat one of it's deceased employees.
The Cat Was nice to see Hugh Lloyd in Doc Martin last night on ITV. Pity they didn't mention at the end that he had died. Many people don't know because it's not been announced by the main news media. I only found out via this site.
