JK2006 Well done Mickey and I see he's still with us but is now 94, probably too frail to do Alfred again.

He was a truly marvellous actor wasn't he?

And I've never been a Caine fan.

Off to see Mamma Mia.
mickeyone It was the wonderful MICHAEL GOUGH.
JK2006 Interesting review by my friend Tom Brook, the BBC excellent film critic - he is pretty complimentary and Heath Ledger is getting huge praise for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Who was the brilliant actor who played Alfred in the Batman movies before the predictable Michael Caine?

I loved him.
JK2006 from the trailers before Prince Caspian I predict the hit film of the year will be...

WALL-E

Looks fantastic.

Also (surprisingly) the third MUMMY film looks great fun and so, to my astonishment, does the Batman newie (The Dark Knight?). I love Cristian Bale but Heath Ledger looks good in it too.
