JK2006 One thing though - no death penalty please, under any circumstances.

We will not be a part of a species that approves of killing its own members.
Dominic Dee David Owen was heavily involved in the mediation between the Serbs and the Bosnians during the conflict. He showed good sense and insight then. I remember him saying how they all knew that the Serbs were lying about a certain matter, and that the Serbs knew that everyone knew that they were lying, but the Serbs didn't care.
Foz Indeed - I remember his puppet on Spitting Images. He sat on the end of the cabinet office meetings sketch saying 'Mmmmmm' whilst stroking his hair.

Regarding Karadzic - every time I see his picture I think of Father Ted.

Another long, expensive drawn-out trial trying to prove something which happened years ago.
JK2006 On BBC News.
Very informed, very perceptive, very intelligent.

We may have missed a far better politician by bypassing him.
