veritas This really was a blow below the belt !(no pun intended).

Someone should be free to have themselves flogged in private by some willing lasses without the worry of cameras recording the event !!

I once knew a working girl who had a High Court judge who came for a regular whipping every fortnight. She said-he said that it helped purge his soul of all the horrible cases he had to live through and made him feel more sympathetic to others in the court !!

It is just one step along the road of condemning media for intentionally blurring lines of truth.

As I've said before - just wait for the celebrity who insists on no money but cessation of publication as punishment.
