JK2006 Watching the fantastic win by the Cuban lad in the 100 Hurdles, I remember why I used to win at the hurdles (and never anything else) - it was simply a question of rhythm since there was no effort needed at all in lifting my leg - I just ran with a bigger leap in every now and again!
JK2006 Watching the Olympics, the only sport I was ever good at in school was hurdling.

Due to my American genes, according to my Mum, I have very long legs that start just under my armpits, so hurdling was just like running for me and I often won to the amazement of everyone since I was useless at (and bored by) all other sports.

Interest in sports only started in the 80s when I began spending time in NYC and discovered baseball (which I adore) and American football (love it too).
