zooloo Stories in the media are not reliable sources. I must say I rather thought you should know that given some of your other posts.

Global Warming doesn't mean it gets warmer. Climate Change is a far more meaningful phrase.

You're also confusing weather with climate. They are two quite different things.

0/10 must try harder

Oh dear !!!

ICE CAP 30% at least bigger than last year.

August Coolest and Westtest since records began

USA and China experiencing coolest summers on record as well.

GLOBAL WARMING seems to have stopped completely.

Our MEDIA have totally misled us. I believe the hot summer of 2003 - 04 was due to the IRAQ Shock and Awe Bombing Campaign ( look up all temp rises in the 20th Century and they always followed serious wars )

GLOBAL WARMING was in my view a myth to cover up the environmental damage done by bombing the Middle East and the burning oilfields which changed our climate.

Things are now settling down and the lack of SUNSPOT Activity is having a major effect on temperature.

Get the woolies out !!

Good news about the POLE though

In fact the last ten years has seen a fall in temperature as the article I linked to points out.

Sounds like we should all be getting some wooly jumpers

The fall, as such, is part of the cyclic temperature changes the Earth goes through (El Mino). The mean temperature is still higher than expected.

The people claiming there is a fall are either fools or knaves. They are misleading you BR to suit their agenda.

Peak temperature gives one indicator but it is the mean temperature that reveals cause for concern.

Besides that newspaper opinion pieces are not good sources to quote. The lack of source references makes such things pretty meaningless.
