veritas you have a good point.

Frankly-I don't believe newspapers, politicians and NGOs give the slightest stuff about children..especially in poor countries. The third world now is awash with indentured and child slavery..some sexual but the vast majority working their fingers to the bone 12 hours of the day to provide us with cheap goods.

And then British yobbos go and mindlessly attack some poor innocent kid.

But don't let politicians off the hook. Their policies have decimated huge working class areas of Britain and killed of manufacturing industries where generations used to work. They tend to be the very areas with large awful housing estates and we have a generation of kids who have time on their hands and no prospects and a lot of inbuilt anger.
Denise Oh. the final sentence didn't seem very tongue in cheek, but I guess I could have misunderstood.
JK2006 I think Blackit's tongue-in-cheek comment is - that's what we're doing already.
