Bunk Morland Interesting replies from both of you; you evidently have no interest in major sport especially football, cricket , golf or rugby league. 24 has passed you by and you rely on ad-interrupted films for entertainment on ITV mixed with reality crap. I should pay M and enjoy some proper stuff.
Denise I agree with your sentiments, JK. I will not give money to Mr M either.

I must say I enjoyed The Terminal movie with Tom Hanks on BBC2 last night.
JK2006 And give money to Mr M, Bunk?

I have Pierrepoint on DVD/R and will watch it in due course.
Bunk Morland DVD recorder, my arse; what you need bro, is Sky Plus.
In The Know I found the Pierrepoint film deeply disturbing - was it really necessary to repeated show them waiting outside a cell as 9am approached? One view would have got the message across.

Tim Spall was (as usual) quite excellent and really brought out the dark and sinister side of the hangman. I'm still pondering whether Pierrepoint or his wife were the most disturbed.

Interesting, too, that after hanging (cold bloodedly) 608 people he became deeply anti-capital punishment.
