veritas Kenneth Williams-what a genius and a sad loss !

You must see the film "Prick Up Your Ears' starred Gary Oldman with a screenplay by the oh so wonderful Alan Bennett.

I've always wondered what happened to the books Orton defaced in libraries for which he was jailed for. They were apparently incredibly amusing ( and pornographic) and really should have been preserved as works of art..probably would have been worth a fortune now !
