JK2006 Delighted Rushdie was ignored - I find him totally unreadable.
JK2006 Regular visitors will know that, for nearly 20 years, I've read the six short listed finalists (and, indeed, wrote a published novel called The Booker Prize Winner).

So today the list was announced.

Normally I can only get 3 or 4 to start with; the remainder need ordering or searching for. But this year I got all six - and some are huge doorstops!
