toby I think this is an important aspect about your case JK that has never been properly examined. The difference between behaviour from 30 years ago which may well have been illegal but was then considered acceptable (same sex relationships) and today's morality where it is not only legal but accepted but other aspects have become much more black and white and scrutinised.
Mart The other day, I put on a fur lined denim jacket with a pair of jeans on, happened to be wearing a pair of boots, and stuck a large hat on as it was drizzling.

"Errrm?", I was told " I really don`t think you should go out like that..!"

Unwittingly, I had no idea that it was the Brokeback Mountain costume...I just threw something on really.....
JK2006 By the way, interesting that all my wrongful convictions are from the same period in time (and equally fictional) as Brokeback Mountain.

It was a very different time then and a very different morality.

How dangerous - and wrong - is it to judge someone with the laws of today for the behaviour of yesterday?
Mart Yes I find that film upsetting too, but brilliant.
JK2006 Spot on Veritas - I started off wondering what the fuss was all about and really not liking it; but half way through I started really liking it and by the end had tears in my eyes and thought Ledger deserved an Oscar.
