veritas I've already got a camcorder in my car..cheap to buy and easy to install. But I now take a camera or at least a tape recorder to record any conversation with a government department...and I always ask if I can record so there is no mistake made later.

If they refuse I say I want to take a note of everything they say. The screw-ups I've encountered with just the tax department could send you balmy.
