veritas	are you old enough to remember the Jeremy Thorpe case ? Absolutely rivetting stuff ! My theory-having been involved in the Labour Party for most of my life ( my father and grandad were party workers...but I abhor Nu Labour..just old Thatcherism)-is that sexually, the Labour Party tendered to be actually more conservative than the Conservatives. Probably to do with where the members mostly came from..lower middle class and working class with strong family ties. None of the shenanigans that the Conservatives entertain us with !.

BR	news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/7623208.stm Yet another member of a Political Party is up for Child Sex Offences ( albeit on a 15 year old - and only incitement not actually doing anything ) The NEW LABOUR Party is the UK's biggest at the moment. Yet WEIRDLY it seems that only members of other parties seem to appear regularly in Court on these types of charges ( and often they get aquitted for no evidence ) Anyone would start to think that NEW LABOUR are undermining the opposition parties using allegations of this sort. If anyone can point me towards a story which features a New Labour Councillor or MP during the last 15 months being put in Court please do and I will eat humble pie.
