mikemacca With yesterday being hallowe'en, I painted a pair of wellies silver, and placed them in front of my front door. We didn't get any trick or treat kids as they thought they were at Gary Glitter's house.
BR The media cant control the whole World and probably with the airplay in the USA alone ( who ignore foreign policy outside LA and New York ) and it is a band music staple - Glitter probably has more cash than he knows what to do with.

It is noticable that the media have stopped chasing him recently because the general public is tired of media campaigns. They also created the Brand and Ross campaign - and will probably be moving to their next targets shortly.

If everyone stopped buying the papers then it would stop them.....but The Mail on Saturday and Sunday is an excellent paper - as is the Sunday Times - so these campaigns detract from the good parts of the papers.
DJones HP has pulled the ad in the UK and changed the music in the US.

Another victory for the meedijah.
zooloo The Daily Mail thoughtfully include the advert so we may watch and be outraged.

How kind.
mikemacca Why shouldn't Gary Glitter get his royalties ?

He's not in jail anymore.
