Foz That's not the hotel where some princess used to bring her pet tiger to stay is it?
JK2006 I haven't skied for ages; I used to be rather good at it when I was a teenager and I loved the feeling of flying through the air but as I got older the prospect of months in plaster detracted from the pleasure.

And I really hate the cold, snow and ice.

But my big success of the summer holidays this year was St Moritz in Switzerland (last year it was Venice).

And I've had the most spectacular brochure for the Suvretta House Hotel.

So I urge any fans of the ski slopes to consider it for their Christmas holidays. Go online and take a look at the place. It is enormously impressive; reminiscent of The Shining.

By the way, the massages are fabulous!
