veritas Dickens was absolutely amazing and he had such a brilliant insight into society at the time.

Today he would be called a "dangerous liberal" in the USA !

Terrific opening titles, with just a hint of a tease of the stars, none bigger than Dickens.

Maggie - wonderful small character... Tattycoram... Dickens is so great at the incidentals which are vital, real people and nobody, nobody does them anymore...

I cannot tell you how much I adore Dickens - he's my ultimate hero.
