Al It was interesting listening to Jacqui Smith on radio 4 this morning claiming that she knew more about the life of prostitutes than the prostitute who was also on the show. Is there something about her life she is not telling us?
JK2006 I've never paid for sex in my life (how damaging for my ego would that be?) but this is just another example of tabloid headline government.

They really cannot see beyond the end of the stories.
robbiex The government has proposed a new law that will criminalise men who use prostitutes that have been trafficked.
First of all, how are they supposed to know that the woman has been trafficked, shes hardly going to admit it, is she. Also Ignorance isn't going to be an excuse.

Also if they won't to stop trafficking, then they should top trafficking, not stop people innocently doing business with people who they were unaware of been trafficked. This would be like criminalising people who shop at M & S because many of the clothes are been made by Slave labour in Sri Lanka.

The way to do this would be to tighten up the flimsy borders in this country. Trafficking should be stopped at the source not at the innocent end user.
