Al Gary Glitter didn't mime on stage, unlike some others. I did hear he was a nightmare for the sound techs because his voice was quite feeble and he had to be boosted considerably.

On that subject, I saw AC/DC Live on The Hits channel and had to strain to hear their vocals above the guitars. The audience didn't care though; they were hooked regardless. Prior to that, on BBC4, I'd been watching Steeleye Span live at the Electric Proms. Very good sound quality there.

This bloke has attended 4,000 live shows since 1973. Kept a record about them and posted it on the internet.

Brilliant reading.

Guess what !! GLITTER is in the TOP 5 of 1973 and is a heavily featured live act.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread GLITTER was one of the most exciting live rock stars of all time - and despite the MEDIA trying to re-write history sites like RAY's who is a music fan will continually flag up this brilliant performer.

It is a shame that he will possibly never perform again in the UK. His music will live on of course and in 50 years time his music will be revived and his legend will live on. During that time the EDITORS of the SUN and NotW will be totally dead and totally anon. That is what makes me laugh about these media witch hunts.
