Thank you Robbie - the crucial fact is that you kept watching, so hopefully it fulfills its main goal - to entertain.
Many have criticised the flashing scene and Wilde About Boys - I would argue that there's not a lot to be offended by in the flashing sequence (it was a very cold day) and I like to think the first response to the Wilde number is to laugh - even if it shocks, it does so with tongue firmly in cheek.

I watched it last night. I thought I would probably watch about 10 mins and then get bored but I was gripped and watched it to the end. It was really very interesting and captivating. I wouldn't say I necessarily agree with everything in it and it did seem to paint people accused of sex attacks as always been the victims. You may have done your case more good by recognising the trauma caused by victims of sex attacks and pointing out that most victims of rape don't even come forward because they have so little faith in getting a conviction.
If the things you mention in the film happen to be true then you should get the case overturned (i.e. the fact that you were out of the country when the alleged offence occurred). Also I don't think the Oscar Wilde song would have done you any favours or the flashing scene. That said good luck with the appeal

We hit the target on Boxing Day - not marking it as a Christmas turkey but celebrating Saint Stephen, the first Christian martyr!
I remember The Rocky Horror Show (I wasn't involved in the film, which I disliked) taking far longer than 6 months to take off although the stage show exploded from very early on (I was, of course, involved in that).
I was delighted to see various characters at our Coronet screening who reminded me of the early Rocky stage fans - individuals, characters, supporters of outsiders...
With luck 2009 will be the year when even more people discover VPTM. If the result of my appeal at the European Court of Human Rights is positive, that would help enormously.
