Dominic Dee Luke Ward Wilkinson died very well in Sharpe's Peril last night. It's easy to over or under act a death scene. He got it just right. His character was believable, and that helped make the entire drama more acceptable.

Pity ITV insists on so many advert breaks.

I wonder if any other viewers were recognising strong similarities, in the final scene, between this and The Magnificent 7. e.g. Locals running out of their houses to help bring down the enemy horses; kids adopting one of the soldiers and putting flowers on his grave at the end; one who deserted to return to be a hero. It wasn't a direct nick, just somewhat similar.
Denise I have quite a soft spot for this young man, and I agree he is a truly fine actor. He has shown quite a depth of character and I hope that we see much more of him over the next few years.
The Cat One of Britain's finest young actors. He was the son in 'Wild At Heart', but more recently gave a delightful performance as Simon in 'Beautiful People', although the show itself didn't do much for me. Plus he is the young officer in 'Sharp's Peril'.

His nose does seem to be outgrowing the rest of him, but I can see he has a future in the industry. The scene where he was trying to kick the football in 'Beautiful People' will be wedged in my mind forever.
