Al I think the series was filmed before the Mumbai massacre. Might explain the absence of scaffolding at the hotel. I agree though, it was great fun. The only thing worth watching on TV last night.
JK2006 Great fun - the contrasts in Dubai were incredible, and the facts that he could neither cover the "sex on the beach" news item nor the Mumbai massacre (he actually stayed in the Taj, as I did) made it somehow even more interesting.

A shame the most successful travel series of all - Entertainment USA - can't be followed up but that's what happens when entertainment rules are set not by quality or enjoyment levels but by outside influences.
