BR watched Alan Davies in ANGUS THONGS etc last night on DVD. Delightful English film about growing up in 2008 based in Eastbourne. Alan Davies is very funny in it and I would say this is a fluffy Ealing comedy. ANGUS ( the cat ) is amazing - you would not believe his outfits !!!

Big Alan Davies fan.
JK2006 Yes; really missed the Quentin magic (isn't she also incredibly attractive?).
The Cat I have to agree with you on this JK, although I did think it improved slightly on the last series in that I hadn't worked it out in the first 5 minutes.

Jonathan Creek hasn't been very good since Caroline Quentin left. Their oddball chemistry helped make the show a classic, plus the puzzles were more intricate and surprising. The series with Julie Swalha was not even half as clever, and their partnership had no sparkle.

It was good to see the Adam Klaus character back in it.

This one might have worked better if it had been an hour shorter. It was feature length for the sake of being feature length, not because it needed to be.
BR I really enjoyed it. Just goes to show how different some people view things......
JK2006 tonight's special was crap from start to finish.
