BR A former monster steel plant and driving force of the UK industrial and manufacturing industry in Newport.

When you went past on the train at night the fires were very impressive.

Today killed by the Global Recession.

After the mining industry now the UK steel industry is on its knees - under a Labour government no less.

Land of Leather and Barratts also gone today and Pro cook shops.......

Each day brings another 10K of job losses.

Anyone seen a green shoot ?
