veritas I just bought a book in a second-hand shop..it's a guide to prevent identity theft written by a security expert.

It's amazing..it's more like a guide how to steal indentities..gives every single trick and computer program availabe to falsify documents etc !
BR The ID and Passport Biometric cards are based on a RFID chip.

They are not secure which means anyone with a card reader can read your chip and get ALL your personal information !! Shocking.

www.theregister.co.uk/2009/02/02/low_cost_rfid_cloner/

This shows that having an ID card with your information on it would be a disaster because you would literally be opening up all your info to criminals. Unlike PCs which have sophisticated firewalls etc a RFID chip seems to have no security protection at all.

If Jacqui Smith ever offer anyone a card please take this video and show it - or lose your personal information. Spread the word.
