JK2006 Good for her, highlighting the meeejah fascination with simplifying problems and solutions and the frightening obedience by government and justice to bow down to tabloid headlines.

As we said at the time, children will die as a reaction to the meejah search for good stories.

Don't get me wrong. I love the meejah. I'm in the meejah. I've made millions through use of the meejah. It is a magical world. But allowing it uncontrolled power and allowing every aspect of life to be ruled and guided by it is a very dangerous road to travel and humanity is on that road.

It leads to only one place.

The end of the species.

Shoesmith says "those words were never broadcast"... fair enough; it's a BETTER STORY that she felt no remorse. That's the meejah - why be accurate when it ruins the headline? I have no problem with media manipulation of the facts to fit the story but it does worry me when politicians, judges, police then take the story as fact and not the reality.

And the result is - good people lose jobs, innocent people get locked up, children get killed, tax money gets wasted...

Consequences.
