Absolutely extraordinary - especially the last paragraph.
Even though the law was broken in the first place it cannot be rectified.
I understand the general principle - adoption should generally be permanent; better for the children - but surely this is a perfect case proving the system is broken, broken, broken.

A couple whose children were taken from them and adopted cannot have them back, even though they "may be right" in believing they suffered a miscarriage of justice, three Court of Appeal judges have ruled.
