I have to say that I agree with Vic Reeves opinion that today's comedy is too much about bullying and picking on people. Most stand-up comedians pick on members of the audience and make personal comments, Ross and Brand make crude comments about an elderly man on his answerphone. Even the non-comedy shows like x-factor and pop-idol's main purpose is to ridicule the talentless individuals and be nasty to them.
