BR

incredible - and yes now you mention it !
veritas what a hoot of a story JK !

And BR-remember it was Edward Heath who coined the term "the unacceptable face of capitalism"-which I think we are seeing unfold before our very eyes !

Perhaps he was an alien-sent to forewarn us !

(there are gay aliens surely !)
BR That is strange JK - have you read the Icke books ? - he says that Heath is an alien !! ( one of the shapeshifters if I can remember rightly ) I saw him give a lecture once - and he was very strange...not at all what came accross on the TV.
JK2006 My Mum had a lot of time for Heath. I met him and thought he was an alien. During an entire Glasgow to London flight in the seat next to me he slept deeply with his fingers making a steeple and they never slipped once.
veritas well I certainly agree with giving kids advice on contraception (minus any "morality" lectures as who defines that ?)

Afterall-children, teens and adults will do what comes naturally no matter what the authorities say.

But BR does have a good point despite his emphatic style-just why is the law used discriminately ? It MUST apply to all no matter what their age although the courts should have the opportunity to take into account varying circumstances(an anathema to lock'em'up pollies).

Or do we forgive the lads involved in the dreadful Bulger case because of their age ?.

And herein lies the problem that BR certainly expounds with conviction (and who may well be leading the charge during the revolution with me at the back well out of harm's way )..scumbag politicians who use the law as a tool to push an agenda because they simply have no other real policies and are beholden to tabloid headlines.

Oh for the days of polticians of real conviction-like the great Manny Shinwell of Labour and yes-Ted Heath, a true Conservative and honest gent.
