david actually I found the feature very shallow and low on any sort of content.

It was all about "I like this, I don't like that" without any digging around to find out why, except on a very superficial level.

And the most telling question of all was when approx 1% (not exact figure) said they are not influenced by advertising. Yes we would all like to think that, wouldn't we - but most of us are on some level- branding, marketing etc, it all sinks in whether we like it or not.

I was expecting more.

And the faux drama as he announced the results... please. It was like the X-factor.
robbiex Morrisons all the way. Good fresh produce and excellent value for money. Your weekly shop at Morrisons would be about 1/3 of the same shop at M&S. M&S is just for buying bits from, only the rich can do all their main shopping there. I find sainsbury bland and doesn't have much choice in the way of chocolate.
dixie The sad thing is the UK's best supermarket chain, (29 modern stores in the North West), didn't get a mention!

Booths have always promoted locally produced fresh produce. If you're ever up in Lancashire or Cumbria, check out a branch. Take a look at their website:

www.booths.co.uk

Their Artisan Restaurant and store on the lower floor of their Kendal branch is well worth a visit.
giles2008 I loved the look on the Asda reps face when he found out what place his company had achieved. It was like someone had taken his sweets away!
BR Excellent survey and totally agreed with its findings.
