emmapeelfanclub It's truly pathetic. Oasis? Haven't they become nothing more than a modern day Status Quo tossing off the same old thing, album after album? I heard the recent one and it was purely Oasis by numbers. Lame, predictable and tired.

So much for their big Beatles influence. They forget the fact that The Beatles changed from album to album, not settle on one album and photocopy that forevermore.

A sad disgrace and proof that NME readers - what's left of them - have no sense of adventure, let alone taste.
giles2008 Oasis voted best band in the NME Awards. Just goes to show that NME is now only read by tone deaf Man City fans.
