Private Eye has 'Diary' by Max Clifford..it's priceless (although reading it you could almost believe it's true! )
ps: surely you jest ! Gordon Brown skipping over the distasteful bits ?..but he said he and us were all concerned about Jane Goody !

I'm the same PBS and I suspect the vast majority are too.
Sometimes a small and rather unpleasant voyeuristic minority appears to be the entire country (especially when it includes the desperate PM and other politicians).
I bet you, at private breakfast, Gordon Brown skips over the distasteful stuff.
Very few with brains want to consume details of a poor women's death over their breakfast.

I can honestly say that so far I have managed to avoid most of the Jade Goody saga. As soon as I see her face or name I either switch over or turn a page. I don't want to, even indirectly, encourage the bandwagon. I had no interest in her when she was in good health, so it would be weird for me to take an interest now.

watching the sad decline of Jade Goody and her final days is so much like a futurisic movie-which has taken reality TV to a new level.
Like that one about roller-blading where they kill each other etc for the TV cameras.
But in the real world, it's just so sordid and actually quite depressing.
