robbiex Thanks for the opinions. There is nothing here to convince me to change my view on films based on comic books.

The next big film I'm looking forward to is "The Damned United" about Brian Clough's ill fated 44 days at Leeds United and based on the excellent book of the same name.
Angel One for the fans. Stay away if your not into comic books or you suffer from incontinence (lomg running time.)
JK2006 I can see no reason to want to go to this but that could be my age!

robbiex Has anyone seen "The Watchmen", if so is it any good? I was thinking of going to see it. I'm not usually a fan of films adpated from comic books ( I find it difficult to suspend my imagination). However there isn't much else on at the moment and the 18 certificate means it won't be childish.
