andrew How can you use them on chat shows to see who having a affair but when it comes to someone who is going to spend time in jail for the wrong reasons gets refused.

I like to see what more evidence there is of Bamber who passed the test over 2 years ago.
zooloo The short answer is that lie detectors simply don't work.

Although as most people think they do (Courtesy of US TV shows ) if you can suggest to a jury you're willing to take one may help... that's a big "if"

the right to silence is being gradually eroded.

and if you don't want to talk to your parole officer about a crime..they write down that you are 'in denial'.
Foz Lie detectors are also used prolifically on the Jeremy Kyle Show which waters down their gravitas even further!
