veritas ..and what a dilemna.

A friend phones to say he has a spare ticket to see Human League tonight..another favorite !

Lazily I've chosen the comfort of a picnic basket, plenty of booze and a nice country hotel to collapse in.

Afterall..there are a 100 vineyards with wineries to tour the next day !

I wonder if Townshend will smash a guitar ?
robbiex Sounds like a great gig, nostalgia is big business at the moment, thats why spandau sold out the o2 in 20 minutes, apart from the fact that they're a great band.

10 years ago, going to gigs was something that people did in their teens and twenties, now gigs are filled witl 40 and 50 somethings and thus its very big business.
veritas what madness..what is left of The Who..Roger Daltrey & Pete Townshend (with Zac Starkey on drums) are playing this weekend in the Hunter Valley at a posh vineyard.

We'll all be sitting in deck chairs with picnic hampers and fine wine.

To think....40 year ago I first saw them in a West London pub.
