robbiex I have to agree, he has got personality in abundance and I love the fact that he says what he thinks and is not just a corporate Kiss-ass like Adrian Chiles. Remember his remarks about the F.A Cup on the bbc, saying I hope you don't think we have over-hyped it after the "Great Drama on the bbc" adverts.
Mark Would agree with all of that JK, except the last bit. Lineker has an awful lot of time to prepare his MOTD shows, as he needs it.

The spontaneous retort/aside just is'nt there - just like, say, Davina. Lineker is good at what he does but Parkinson, he ain't.

JK2006 I loved him as a player and I think he's tremendous as a TV host; nice but funny; handsome without being smarmy; deserves his own talk show.
