BR Thanks for listenting PBS - My fave songs do not have clips up on that site. Those were chosen by David Icke books. If you go his My Space you can hear the songs that I think are the gems
My Fave songs are CROYDE BAY and NO ONE WILL EVER COME CLOSE ENOUGH which is a gut wrenching ballad which is pretty sensational. But it is all down to taste and I think you have nailed the sound - alot of people are saying such things.
PBS Sound a bit like a cross between James Blunt and Ben Mills. The three preview songs were ok, but lacked the sparkle that would inspire me to buy the album.
BR Thanks for that Angel. I have been following some threads on message boards to see that even those who dont like the Icke name actually seem to like what Gareth has done. It is unashamed indie pop. The idea was to be commercial - why not !!!
Angel Love the songs BR and Gareth's voice suits the tunes perfectly. Good luck to him.
BR Hope you dont mind me mentioning an album that I have been helping work on. But it is relevant to many of our discussions.

GARETH ICKE is the eldest son of David - and he is a lovely guy. He has written some great songs in the last 10 years of touring etc, and has finally put them down with Dan "Art Brut - Snow Patrol - Eno" Swift and is releasing his debut album.

On May 28 he is headlining the Camden Barfly and if you want to hear some of the tunage or buy a cheap pre sale copy then please do. It is as this link :
www.davidickebooks.co.uk/index.php?act=v...amp;amp;productId=73

I have a copy and can say that it is an excellent indie record.

Gareth's back story as growing up as the son of someone much riciculed because of his Dad on Wogan is quite incredible. This album as you would expect shows that his observations of life are raw and emotional.
