Al I totally agree with what you say.
I dont trust any of them BUT the current Junta is very evil and we need to get rid of them.
Cameron will only be a 4 year caretaker I think - during that time alot of things will happen and possibly we will see a big change in the Parties we can vote for......or not. But a change certainly. |

With politicians I think it's a case of choosing the lesser of the evils. I see Labour as the greatest evil, and I'll vote for whoever is most likely to remove them from power. I've not been into tactical voting in the past, but this government is so hell bent on destroying or controlling every part of our lives that I see their removal as the top priority. We can deal with whatever comes after .. after. |

I liked the Lib Dems under Charles Kennedy, but not keen on Nick Clegg.
It should have been Vince Cable as leader, but since they'd dumped Ming in a bout of ageism, they couldn't really replace him with someone of a similar age. Stupidity.
Not sure who I'd vote for this time.... possibly the Greens, but I'd need to read up on their policies first. |

I must say I don't like or trust any of them.
Last time I voted Lib Dem simply because they had been the only party to be against the invasion of Iraq and murder in our name of innocent people from the start.
Next time I'll probably do the same only because Vince Cable seems the only politician to speak sense. |

I was unemployed for four years under the Thatcher government, but I still voted Tory because I could see the bigger picture. Of course some industries failed, but they were not in a healthy state anyway. Why should public money be wasted on a failing industry which will just continue to soak up yet more public money to stay alive? Trains operate much better since privatisation. I use trains a lot, before and after privatisation, and the service is much improved.
Mrs Thatcher upset a lot of people, but what she did was necessary for the long term interests of the country. As usual, the British people see less money in their pocket and lose their stamina.
As for Cameron. He has not resorted to personal insults. He is the leader of the opposition, and it is their job to oppose bad policy. This present government has never been short of bad policy. I'm sure if he stayed quiet he'd be criticised for that too. |
