Over half our schools now have POLICE based in them. This is very strange in my view unless the school is out of control.

We pay the POLICE to protect the public and police the streets - yet over 5,000 of them are now in schools. For what purpose ?

The only one I can see is to push a Police State agenda.....you can imagine it now......kids being told the benefits of the Police State - ID Cards - Chipping - nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide - how to make compensation claims by making false allegations thus keeping the Police in work doing pointless jobs rather than chasing hardened criminals....etc etc etc.

A very bad development in my view and which the Tories should reverse when they get into Government. An occasional visit on Careers Day - and an occasional visit for Health and Safety about knives etc is what the Police should be doing.
