JC As suspected, Wigan failed to stand their ground against Man Utd. I can't see anyone else winning the title now, although I have little interest in the top half of the table. The top teams are businesses and have little to do with sport now. That's no excuse for the other teams to perform so badly against them, as each has 11 men on the field all just as capable as the others. A lot of it is in the mind. Many teams believe they cannot beat Man Utd and so they don't. A bit like when Steve Davis dominated snooker. After the draw for one competition, a player found himself up against Steve Davis and was heard to say "How can I possibly beat that guy?" He lost heavily, mainly because he believed he would. Then Stephen Hendry came along and showed everyone that it can be done. Some teams do believe they can beat Man utd, and they stick the boot in, after which Man Utd usually lose the next couple of games as other teams gain a bit of confidence. Unfortunately, as soon as Man Utd win another, the others shrink back into disbelief.

It's up to all teams next season to believe they can win. Only then will we see real changes.
BR Sad to say I cant see the World Champions whose one player Ronaldo is probably worth more than the whole Wigan squad and their stadium put together !! Not winning tonight and thus ending the Premier League chase.

There are only three top clubs and then there is Arsenal as hangers on - then the rest who are like a Second Division below. That is the Premier League. Same in Scotland where there are only two teams.

Eventually a European League will happen between the Top Clubs and they will cut out everyone else including the small clubs from small European countries.
robbiex Lets hope that Wigan can overcome Man Utd tonight so that the battle for the premier league can continue and Liverpool can snatch it. However Wigan will probably lie down and let Man U win, especially with ex-Man u stalwart Steve Bruce in charge.
