BR It is noticable that the high end of the market has hardly been touched by this recession.

It seems to be being felt in retail - manufacting - middle priced leisure/restaurants etc.

I went to a concert at the South Bank. The expensive seats were all sold out. The cheap seats ( where I was !! ) were half empty. Sort of sums it up.

If someone has a positive bank balance with noughts at the moment they are in a very strong position to barter and to get good deals - and even find seats for some things ! For the rest of us with rising utility bills and fuel costs it is becoming more of a struggle.

JK2006 at Cafe Anglais with my friend and his wife and daughter; the place was packed and not cheap - £300 for the four of us, worth every penny.
