david JK what would have been the deal if you had sold the rights? would you have lost all control over it? and could it actually have resulted in more views than the current word-of-mouth?

(I really don't understand anything about these media matters!)

I shall continue to spread the word, as I do believe there are issues raised in the film which have ramifications beyond just your case.

good stuff.
JK2006 Yes Robbie the meejah can be deliciously predictable.
robbiex I found the vile pervert film interesting when I saw it a few months ago. However I think the opening flashing scene and the "Wilde about boys" song will just provide ammunition for the tabloid press to bring out their 'Perv' headlines.
Innocent Accused Just posted the link on a couple of popular forums. They'll probally ban me for the nudity bit lol,but it's worth it for the principle alone.

As we both know it's so much more than a bit of fun with some gret music. No wonder the rights are worth money.

Good luck with your european appeal.
JK2006 I was in Cannes last week (You Tube video to be made and put up shortly) where a big independent distributor offered £100,000 for exclusive global rights to the movie.

It seems word has gotten out that this is a potential cult hit.

I refused. Although the money would have amounted to an advance of £10 a copy on 10,000 sales, it is not the profit I'm chasing.

We've had almost four times as many as that watch the full length 96 minute film online in the year it's been available for free - over 35,000 - and I'm interested in quantity of viewers, not cash.

Continuing online with sales of the DVD/CD package through Amazon and other sites means many more viewings by next May and that's what I want. So please spread the word.
