JK2006 I have a horrid feeling a certain poster will be looking for his £10!
The Cat The best news of the day was that Hull stayed up.

mikemacca When you look at some of the players Newcastle have you have to question why they have struggled. Chelsea destroyed Damien Duff who was once the best wide player in Britain. Michael Owen isn't good enough for non league football these days. Alan Smith is a joke and seems to exist only to be a gay icon. Despite having Charlie Dimmock in defence they still don't look capable of scoring goals.
robbiex Great shame today seeing Newcastle and Middlesborough go down. Both Shearer and Southgate have got great attitudes to the game. They never make excuses or play mind games. That said, Newcastle were very poor today, they showed very little spirit after the first half and for that they deserve to go down. I think Shearer should have joined as Keegan's assistant at the start of the season and learn his craft instead of jumping straight in at the deep end.
