Tazbar.com, a rival auction site to Ebay, has announced it will close on 15th June 2009. I did think that maybe if they'd adapted music The Clash and had "Rock the Tazbar" as a commercial they might have raised much more interest, but Ebay is so established that it's always going to be difficult to challenge it's position. I was actually banned from Ebay, and have spent the last year trying to find out why but always getting automated emails with no answers. Lgeally they are in breach of contract, but they are based abroad, outside of the EU, and very wealthy, so nothing a mere non-billionaire mortal can do about it. So I did try Tazbar for a while, but few people visited and it's no surprise that it has folded.
