veritas oddly enough..the presenters are a local chef and a British food critic. But maybe that's all part of the appeal. They're tough but very fair and get the contestants to give their best.
robbiex Do you have Greg Wallace and John Tarode (whos aussie) in the Aussie version too. I can't imagine anyone to match these two. I think it's appeal is in the amount of passion the contestants and judges display in the competition. Also the funny comments and catchphrases from Greg (e.g. The main course slapped me around the face and the pudding gave me a gentle kiss on the cheek).
veritas needless to say there is the Oz version and it's a massive hit !

I can't work it out..I love it and I don't know why. Why do we like it so much ?
robbiex Another new series of this fabulous show. One of the reasons that this show is so successfull is the wonderfull personalities of the 2 presenters John Tarode and Greg Wallace, and the fact that the experts decide who wins not members of the public who usually aren't food experts and obviously can't taste the food.
