hilarleo Shoo, I'd like to keep that on the down-low, please.
Some evil is bound to notice... & me a virus-virgin.
Vince W I would always download it from the makers site:

malwarebytes.org/

I run a small IT company (Http://www.the-it-people.co.uk)and this is one of the most useful tools in our arsenal!

Some malicious programs actually look for the executable file it runs from and blocks it, so if you download it and can't get it to install change the executable file name from mbam.exe to test.exe or whatever you fancy!
JK2006 And I have to add; as an Apple Mac fan, viruses are almost unknown here.
david Hi robbie

www.filehippo.com/

then enter malwarebytes in the search box and it will bring up the free download.

it is possible to download it from other sites, but filehippo was the one the BT engineer directed me to.

I have to say I was most impressed. Neither AVG nor McAfee could get rid of my Trojan, but this did, and also found other stuff too.
robbiex Can we have a link for Malware bytes please, it sounds pretty usefull.
