There was an excellent script book published a few years ago by Barry Took and Mat Coward and published by Boxtree. This includes full uncut scripts from a 20 programmes by series so you can see what was edited out by the blue pencils of the BBC.Its strange that a lot of what was edited out was not as rude as what was left in. heard an episode this morning. It's my favourite radio comedy - innuendo seemed so much more innocent then.

I've always, since a small child, been a fan of Hancock's Half Hour, but it's only in the last few months thanks to BBC7 that I have discovered Round the Horne. How the hell did they get away with it in the 1960s, some of it is still 'woah' now in terms of the inuenendo.
