JK2006	The wonderful Billie Jean clearly reads this board and your post Robbie; she said Women's tennis hasn't even gotten into Africa yet.
JK2006	I love both sisters and think they are a credit to the game and to our species. Every interview they do, they come across as classy, bright and not prepared to take any shit (I'm still boggled by that bloody interviewer after Venus' semi win). I slightly favour Serena so I'm pleased she won.
david	not sure their success has anything to do with their race.... they're just way way better than anyone else, which is why they are winning everything. good for them.
robbiex	As much as I like the fun loving Williams sisters and think that it is great that women of an Afro-Caribbean origin have broken into tennis, I have to admit I'm sick of them winning everything. They have won 8 out of the last 10 finals. The other girls just don't have the strength and speed to cope with them. It makes you wonder why more black women haven't broken into the top ranks of tennis.
