Al On one TV round up of ther Brits they actually showed a clip of both songs back to back - so I think someone noticed. They used the words "influenced by" though.

Robbiex No I haven't, has anyone noticed that the Franz Ferdinand hit "Michael" is the same tune as "Beat Surrender" by the Jam.
mikemacca Has anyone else noticed the riff of Coldplay's song has the exact same 9 notes in the exact same order at the exact same tempo as Kraftwerk's "Computer love" (the original A side of their 1982 Number one 'The Model" ?
