JK2006 I know and I agree; grouse are beautiful birds and we really ought not to be shooting them. But they taste delicious and I must advise you, if, like me, you adore them, to try the Cafe Anglais and their Roast Grouse with game chips and bread sauce.

Leave it for a couple of weeks so they are well hung but eat and enjoy.

Don't forget your wallet though.
